Elie is a designer from Paris (France), graduated from Atelier Chardon Savard, Paris Elie worked as a textile and graphic designer in Paris and Hong Kong for Shanghai Tang and Giorgio Armani. Elie was awarded the Sakura Collection X Japan Touch Fashion Award Prize in 2014 and the Fide Singapore Fashion Week prize in 2013

JACKIMONO

The “Jackimono" is inspired by the traditional Japanese Kimono and iconic BAR jacket by Christian Dior. The interplay between cultural elements from Japan and France is highlighted in its cutting, colours and fabrics. Black is a reference to the famous French jacket colour while Kurozome and hakata ori are key fabrics used in traditional japanese clothes and Teijin is a Japanese high tech fabric. The name of Jackimono is also namaed by Jackie Kennedy who is a symbol of elegance and simplicity.
